1. Information and data we process

Account credentials

Tecco Player requires a username and password for an existing compatible media-service account. These credentials are used only to authenticate your account and request the content and account information necessary to provide the app's core functionality.

Locally saved sign-in information

If sign-in information is saved on the device, Tecco Player stores it locally using encryption backed by Android security mechanisms. This is used to make future sign-in easier. The app does not use these credentials for advertising or profiling.

Network and technical information

When the app connects to online services, the receiving servers necessarily receive ordinary network information such as your IP address, connection time, request details, and basic technical information required to deliver and secure the service. Tecco Player does not request access to your contacts, precise location, camera, or microphone.

2. How we use information

Information is processed only as needed to:

• authenticate your existing service account;
• load account status and available Live TV, movie, series, radio, and related metadata;
• play media requested by you;
• remember app preferences and, where enabled, saved sign-in information;
• provide Internet Radio functionality; and
• maintain service reliability, security, and abuse prevention.

Tecco Player does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for targeted advertising. The Play version of Tecco Player does not contain advertising.

3. Service providers and third-party services

Tecco Player communicates with the media service associated with your account in order to authenticate you and provide requested content. Your username and password are sent to that service over an encrypted HTTPS connection for authentication and service access.

The Internet Radio feature uses the community-operated Radio Browser directory to retrieve public radio-station information. When you select an Internet Radio station, requests may be sent to Radio Browser infrastructure and to the selected radio station's streaming server. Those services may receive ordinary network information such as your IP address and request metadata under their own practices. Your Tecco Player service username and password are not intentionally sent to Internet Radio providers.

We do not share personal information with data brokers or advertising networks.

4. Data security

Tecco Player uses HTTPS for communication with its configured service endpoint and uses Android security mechanisms to protect locally saved credentials. Reasonable technical safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

5. Data retention and deletion

Locally saved app data remains on your device until it is removed through the app where available, Android app-data controls, or by uninstalling Tecco Player. Saved sign-in data can also be removed by signing out and clearing the application's stored data.

Tecco Player does not create a new service account inside the app. It signs in to an existing account supplied by the relevant service provider. Retention or deletion of server-side account records is therefore handled by the service provider responsible for that account. 6. Children's privacy

Tecco Player is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly use the app to collect personal information from children for advertising or profiling.

7. Permissions

Tecco Player uses network-related Android permissions required to access online services. The Play version does not request access to contacts, precise location, camera, microphone, or advertising ID for its core operation.

8. International processing

Online services used by Tecco Player may operate infrastructure in different countries. As a result, network requests may be processed outside your country of residence, subject to the practices and legal requirements applicable to those services.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Tecco Player's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The current version will always be published at this URL with its effective date.
